Field Office Building Solutions from Alaska Structures®
Field offices play a critical role in supporting construction projects, mining operations, exploration programs, infrastructure development, utility work, emergency response, disaster recovery, military operations, and remote industrial activities. Whether used for project management, engineering coordination, administrative functions, scheduling, communications, safety meetings, or on-site planning, a reliable field office helps keep operations organized and productive.
Unlike traditional mobile office trailers, container offices, or conventional construction, field office buildings from Alaska Structures® offer a lightweight, highly portable, and rapidly deployable alternative designed for remote and difficult-to-access environments. Our pre-engineered fabric buildings ship with significantly lower weight and cube, reducing transportation costs while allowing delivery to locations inaccessible to traditional office solutions.
Available in a wide range of sizes and building models, including the XPL Series™, GB Series™, and SQ Series™, our field office solutions can be configured to meet virtually any operational requirement. Optional systems and upgrades include:
- Lighting and electrical systems
- HVAC and ventilation systems
- EnerLayer® insulation systems
- Modular flooring solutions
- Hard personnel doors and window packages
- Office furniture and workstation packages
Alaska Structures® works directly with project owners, decision-makers, architects, engineers, and EPCM firms to design and manufacture American-made field office buildings tailored to each project’s operational requirements. Case Study: Arctic Field Offices for ICEX 2016 Naval Operations
Alaska Structures® provided rapidly deployable field office and operational support shelters for ICEX 2016, a U.S. Navy Arctic mission conducted on floating sea ice approximately 200 miles north of Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. Engineered to perform in temperatures as low as −50°F, these insulated field office structures supported command operations, communications, engineering research, and dive support in one of Earth’s harshest environments.
