During the exploration phase of the Cluff Lake uranium project in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin, these 12’ x 20’ GB Series™ workforce housing units provided insulated, heated accommodations for personnel operating in extreme winter conditions. Equipped with insulation packages, oil-stove heaters, hard personnel doors, and mesh ventilation windows, the rapidly deployable shelters provided reliable protection against freezing temperatures and heavy snowfall while supporting exploration activities in a remote location. The exploration program ultimately contributed to the development of one of Canada’s most significant uranium mining projects, which later employed more than 300 personnel at its peak.
