Portable Hygiene Facilities
Alaska Structures® provides a selection of portable hygiene facilities, including portable showers, latrines, urinals and laundry facilities for remote jobsites.
Alaska Structures provides portable hygiene facilities for remote jobsites and remote camp systems, including portable showers, latrines, urinals and laundry facilities.
Our portable hygiene facilities feature quick-connect plumbing and water systems for rapid installation. These are available in soft-wall shelters or containerized hygiene facilities. We also offer hygiene facilities in four- to 10-person capacities.
Popular with mining, oil and gas, and construction companies in remote locations, we configure our extensive range of soft-wall shelters to provide on-site latrine facilities. Designed for rapid installation, the Alaska Latrine-In-A-Box™ is a portable latrine system that quickly expands to create a private bathroom stall and uses quick-connect hose kits.
We make the Alaska Latrine-In-A-Box™ from molded, high-density plastic. It contains fabric walls and an entry curtain, and a removable step offers easy access.
Additionally, the Alaska Latrine-In-A-Box™ is self-contained and includes plumbing. The system is easy to set up and take down. A stackable design and forklift pockets allow for easy transport and storage.
We configure the Alaska Latrine Facility™ with the following components:
All Alaska Latrine Facility components are rated to NEMA 4 and available in U.S. and European voltages (60 Hz and 50 Hz).

Like the Alaska Latrine Facility™, the Alaska Shower Facility is suitable for remote camp systems or locations needing on-site shower facilities. The Alaska Shower-In-A-Box™ uses the same expanding container with the following:
We design the Alaska Shower-In-A-Box™ system to easily handle 100 showers per day.
A multi-fuel heater — capable of running on diesel #1 and #2, kerosene and JP-8 fuel — provides a much-needed hot shower after a long day of work in frigid temperatures. The system features built-in safety cutoffs for unattended operation. An optional remote fuel tank is available for extended run times.

For operations needing a combined shower and latrine facility, Alaska Structures offers portable hygiene facilities with the Alaska Shower-In-A-Box™ and Alaska Latrine-In-A-Box™ systems. These are available in four-, six-, eight- or 10-person capacities.

In addition to soft-wall shelters with portable shower and latrine systems, Alaska Structures provides containerized shower facilities and containerized latrine facilities. Suitable for semipermanent and permanent installations, containerized hygiene facilities from Alaska Structures are fully equipped solutions.
Upon delivery, clients can install the containerized shower and latrine systems on uneven terrain. Built-in lifting and leveling jacks raise the hygiene facility, reducing the need for pre-site construction work.
Removable steps provide easy access to the six individual stalls. A built-in utility room contains the following:
An electrical panel allows for fast plug-and-play connections without the need for expensive electricians. Containerized shower and latrine facilities from Alaska Structures are available in U.S. and European voltages (60 Hz and 50 Hz, respectively). Quickly connect to a camp’s water system, a municipal water source or water storage tanks using quick-connect hoses.
Each containerized shower facility or containerized latrine facility from Alaska Structures features six private stalls. It also includes a sink, mirror, shelf, gear or towel hooks, exhaust fan and GFCI power outlet. The containerized shower unit also includes a fold-down seat for changing.
An optional containerized shower and latrine facility is available. It includes three individual toilet stalls and three individual shower stalls.
Color choices for Alaska Structures containerized hygiene facilities include white, tan and olive (military green).
Container-based laundry systems cram as many washer and dryer units as possible into a container. This leaves little to no room for opening folding tables, storing detergents, packing cleaning supplies and using sorting space.
However, Alaska Structures provides a unique solution for on-site laundry facilities.
Our containerized laundry facilities use a soft-wall shelter to provide abundant space for laundry activities. They also feature the convenience of commercial-grade, high-capacity washers and dryers enclosed in a container. All these containerized laundry facility components pack inside the laundry container for easy transport.
Containerized laundry facilities from Alaska Structures are available in U.S. and European voltages (60 Hz and 50 Hz, respectively).
