The Alaska Shower-In-A-Box™ system is a rapidly deployable shower solution designed for remote and austere environments where conventional plumbing infrastructure is unavailable or impractical.
Each shower unit is manufactured from molded Linear Low Density Polyethylene (LLDPE) and includes integrated plumbing, fabric privacy walls, and an entry curtain. The system collapses into a compact, forklift-capable container with forklift pockets on two sides for efficient transport, storage, and deployment.
Each shower module includes plug-and-play quick-connect plumbing for rapid setup and can be deployed individually or grouped together to support larger workforce populations. All components are NEMA 4-rated for protection in demanding environments and are available in both U.S. and European electrical configurations (50 Hz or 60 Hz) to support global deployments.
When packed for transport, each Alaska Shower-In-A-Box™ unit measures just 48 inches long by 43 inches wide by 33 inches high, minimizing shipping volume while maximizing deployment flexibility.
Portable shower systems can be configured as basic shelter-based solutions or fully integrated turnkey systems complete with potable water storage, gray water storage, pumps, water heaters, HVAC, ventilation, and electrical distribution.

A sample turnkey shower facility uses a 20′ wide × 19.5′ long SQ Series™ fabric building equipped with four private shower stalls, an Alaska 4-Basin Sink™, 2,000-gallon potable water bladder, 2,000-gallon gray water bladder, pumps, water heater, HVAC system, and ventilation equipment. This configuration can support approximately 100 showers per day depending on water availability and operational conditions.
