GBX Series – Gable Building Systems

GBX™ Gable Building System

Alaska Structures® has created the world’s best fabric buildings and camp systems for more than 40 years. With polyvinyl chloride (PVC) fabrics and high-strength metal frames that have been field-tested for decades in the world’s most extreme climates, the Alaska Structures GBX™ series of gable buildings are tough enough to withstand high winds, heavy snow loads, and inclement weather. Our high-strength tensioned membrane structures are used around the world for commercial, industrial, and governmental applications.

GBX buildings are ideal temporary and/or permanent housing solutions that are popular for their vertical sidewall design. Since 1975, our 12’ x 20’ (3.66m x 6.10m) gable building has been a favorite of prospectors and remote field operating companies for small to mid-size camps. We offer a variety of other sizes including the traditional 14’ x 16’ (4.27m x 4.88m) wall tent. Available in standard and heavy-duty models, GBX tensioned membrane structures can be used as single-room or two-room sleeper shelters that can be set up in as little as 20 to 40 minutes with minimal site preparation.

Our gable buildings can be used with other Alaska Structures fabric membrane structures to create worksite and exploration camps with warehousing, storage, garages, dining facilities, recreation facilities, bathrooms, offices, and other facilities.
