RAPIDLY DEPLOYABLE DRIVE-THROUGH TESTING STATIONS FOR THE CORONAVIRUS
Government agencies, state and city health departments, hospitals, urgent care facilities, emergency management, first responders, retailers and pharmacies needing to quickly establish drive-through testing facilities for the coronavirus (COVID-19) or other infectious diseases will find our rapidly deployable structures the superior choice compared to typical pop-up canopies or party tents.
Drive-through testing stations from Alaska Structures® are weatherproof, made of higher-quality and longer-lasting materials, and engineered to meet specific wind and snow loads. Our engineered fabric structures provide a much safer space to protect healthcare workers, testing equipment, as wellas patients and their vehicles from the elements.
Our drive-through testing stations are easily assembled and can be left in place for long-term screening operations or quickly taken down and relocated. Our engineered fabric structures can be safely anchored to any level surface, including asphalt or concrete parking lots.
OUTDOOR STRUCTURES FOR HIGH CAPACITY DRIVE-THROUGH TESTING CENTERS
In response to the growing number of coronavirus cases, states across the U.S. are urgently creating high capacity drive-through testing centers. States like Delaware, New York, Massachusetts, and Texas have converted the parking lots of stadiums, parks, universities, pharmacies, and hospitals into locations where a high volume of patients can be quickly and efficiently tested for the coronavirus. Drive-through testing centers are preferred because they significantly reduce the risk of exposure to healthcare workers, doctors, staff, as well as other patients needing medical attention at local area hospitals and urgent care facilities.
Our drive-through testing facility is 21 ft. wide x 20 ft. long making it capable of accommodating two vehicles at a time for testing. Standard height vehicles will have adequate clearance to enter the facility with 7 ft. eaves and a peak height of 11 ft. 3 in. Removable side curtains are equipped with large screen windows for proper ventilation and sight lines. End panels with multiple entry options are available to create a semi- or completely closed testing center.
The drive-through testing center from Alaska Structures utilizes a high-strength, galvanized steel frame system. The tensioned fabric membrane is UV stabilized to withstand prolonged exposure to the sun, will not rot, is mold and mildew resistant, chemically inert, and exceeds the fire safety requirements outlined in the California Code of Regulations (CCR) for membrane structures. Setup can be accomplished in 30 minutes with a trained crew of 4.
