Alaska Gable Shelters

The Alaska Gable Shelters are designed for more rapid deployment and improved transportability over existing shelter systems, while offering far greater safety and comfort. Each Alaska Gable Shelter measures 18 feet wide and is 9 feet at its apex, and is available in multiple lengths. The 18 ft. x 26 ft.  Shelter (pictured to the right) weights only 620 pounds and can be fully operational in under 15 minutes with six trained personnel.

The Alaska Gable Shelters are specifically tailored to meet the stringent demands for reduced weight and cube, along with quick erect and strike capabilities. Focusing on increased mobility and agility, the Alaska Gable Shelters are capable of supporting the warfighters' expeditionary shelter requirements.

Designed and engineered for extreme climates and difficult terrain, the Alaska Gable Shelters allow the warfighter to go farther and faster into the field to complete the mission. Each shelter offers increased wind and snow load capabilities over existing shelter systems, as well as survivability in harsh environments such as the extreme cold and wind of the Arctic to the extreme heat and UV conditions in the deserts of the Middle East. Alaska Gable Shelters have a 20-year shelf life and are designed for up to 10 years of extended use in the field.

Each Alaska Gable Shelter holds true to the Alaska Structures high standard of quality and durable shelters, while maintaining the commitment to improving the safety and living environment for the warfighter.
