Field Office / Portable Work Units
For over 34 years, government and commercial operations all over the world have used the Alaska Field Shelters and Portable Work Units for short and long-term operations. Our field offices are used by agencies like US Fish & Wildlife and Bureau of Land Management for geological and environmental studies. The Alaska Field Office and Portable Work Units are a series of Alaska Structures (AKS) used in the construction, mining, and oil & gas industries for remote field operations from Antarctica to Azerbaijan, to the African Jungle, to the arid deserts of South America, for both highly mobile and permanent office and portable work unit requirements.
